Brian C. Patterson
I’m Brian. I’m an artist, intuitive healer, and ordinary person living in my beautiful hometown, Salt Lake City.
I came into this world a natural artist. In the midst of a spiritual awaking, I finally grasped that clairvoyance was the foundation of my creative acumen. Through this, I recognized the call to expand my abilities to give them greater reach, purpose, and benefit to those I share this world with.
Through the process of healing from burnout, on top of a 30 year depression, I have become a deeply spiritual person. Serving in this way feels different than anything I’ve ever experienced – it feels unquestionable and natural – solid.
I hold deep reverence for the opportunity to embody this service of honoring the interconnectedness of all things to help my fellow human beings on their path to realization. In the process, I also heal and learn so much about myself, about the human experience, and the nature of consciousness.
Many say that I bring a calm, grounding effect to situations. Past employers would schedule me to work particular shifts because my presence alone would deescalate tension and conflict. My presence is an integral component to the service I give and creates a safe, non-judgmental space for real healing to occur as clients will attest.
Also, while not evident on this site, humor is fundamental to my character. I’ve always enjoyed making people laugh and it’s possible I suck at it. I feel like my inclination to derive laughter out of most situations stems from my deeper knowing that our Earthly experience is paradoxically unavoidable and illusory – as in, we can make this either fun or painful.
Some additional interests of mine include camping, thrifting, storytelling, traveling, chess (still suck), my beautiful partner, cats, hammocks, and sleep. The photos on this site are a few I’ve collected on my journey through this weird mystery we call life.
I hold an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Kinetic Imaging and an HBF in Sculpture/Intermedia Studies from the University of Utah.
